Political labels carry so much baggage that I find them pretty useless most of the time. The term “liberalism” definitely fits in that category, especially with the current political rhetoric in the US.

But I did find a nice piece by Betrand Russell in which he lays out his “10 Commandments for Liberalism”. If these are the principles that define a “liberal,” then I’m guilty as charged.
